When I was about three, we had one in our neighbourhood and we used to call it 'kappe car' ('frog-car' in Kannada). This little car has stolen hearts the world over for a long time now. I was pleasantly surprised to find this Beetle parked outside my friend's apartment complex.This car has a unique history involving Hitler and the renowned designer/engineer Porche... Among all car designs ever made so far, I feel this is the one which might never lose its 'cute quotient'.

This and Reva from Bangalore. So cute that everytime I saw one in Bangalore, i wanted to sprint, halt and hug it. Can you believe it, giving a car a jadoo ki jhappi, as if it would open its "light-eyes" and give me a wink!

my friend has a light blue one.. but then one day his dad just sold it.. much to the dismay of my friend.. and all of us...
alice, I wouldn't buy a New Beetle either, it is around $17,000-23,000. And that is BEFORE you decide to pay excise and other taxes...
